Photos of Anna

It's tough choosing photos. There are the ones to hand at the moment. We'll add and edit and change them as we go along.

If you are not here and want to be send a photo, please.

There are four pages so far:

The houses she lived in and loved (this last page is now a new section on the website as it was all getting a bit unwieldy).

I've also started a photo page on Anna's churches. (This is now in the Houses she lived in and loved section.) Anna did love a good church. And she could be amazingly persistent at getting a visit to a passing church.

At Ferg's partner's mother's funeral the Church of Scotland minister said that a long illness casts a life into dark shadows. Time allows us to recover them from the darkness that made death seem a relief and see them in their wholeness again.

Although Anna was spared the worst of Alzheimer's it was more than enough. With these photos hopefully we can recover her from the shadows of the illness and see her in her wholeness again.

Anna loved the big family celebrations. As did we all. This was Easter 2015 at her house, the family house, the house she lived in for forty years. Her hand is in the immediate foreground.
